In Puerto lopez the Hotel actually had the water delivered by truck for showers etc.it seemed to occur in Crucita too.In Crucita there was no water sometimes.
Also the construction was done without a cement mixer and has taken the Ecuadorean hotel owner five years to frame up a 26 room hotel, he thinks the hotel will be finished in another three or four years!
my husband and I always stay at that particular hotel for a few days each trip.We have observed the cement crew mixing by hand on the sidewalk and then transporting it by wheel barrow to the hotel itself. There is usually only a few feet completed at the end of the day.A bit sad
