| Questions: Why is soccer so popular in other parts of the world? I don't want to offend anyone but I find soccer extremely boring, I've been to a couple of soccer games while visiting other countries like Ecuador, Brazil, and England, and I remember a couple games where NO ONE SCORED the entire game not one score, there's hardly any physical contact and it just seems like nothings happening, but what really surprised me was the enthusiasm of the crowd I mean they were really hardcore overly excited and i was trying to pretend like i was interested. I know soccer is the most popular sport in the world so maybe I'm missing something because I love sports I love basketball, baseball, and football and not just because I'm American but these sports actually keep me entertained, when im watching soccer its hard to stay awake so can someone explain to me whats all the hype about? |

A lot of it comes down to the culture you grew up in. Those in Latin American grew up in a culture of excitement around Soccer and therefore find it exciting. |
