'Shopping Malls in Quito' Shopping

I want to retire in Quito, but my wife is worried that in a third world country they won't have any good shopping malls. Can someone give us some first hand advice?

Ecuador is a country in way to development but there are best malls than a lot of countries that I have been.

Names: Mall El Sol, San Rafael, El Jardín, Quicentro Shopping, Megacentro, etc, etc.

It's a nice place to live

I beg to differ with Martn..Ecuador's status as a third world country does not mean it hasn't the best kind of services. I live in a so called third country myself but there are so many shopping malls that at times, I am spoilt for choice. I hope this is the only bit I get to disagree with your wife. It all depends on whether you are willing to retire to a developing country right from a developed one
