| Chevron kills indigenous peoples, may have to pay up Chevron is now using extra-legal means to manipulate the courts of Ecuador. I hope that the Ecuadorean government will stand up to the u$ and tell it to go itself if it predicates trade relations on the verdict in this lawsuit. I also hope that other Third World countries will support Ecuador in this matter.

| I am really sorry to hear this. I pity those innocent victims who were killed by the irresponsible actions of Chevron. Yes, I agree that it is but proper that they pay for whatever damages they have caused. This is very saddening especially on the part of families whose family members died. I hope that these oil companies will be more responsible in disposing their wastes so that no more individuals will suffer, or worst, will die. |
| That is true. It is important that huge oil companies would consider also the effect of their actions not just with the population but also for the environment. It is not too late for this giant companies to take a stand against polluting bodies of water. I just hope that things would be fine for the locals who got greatly affected of the incident. And hope that this would never happen again. |
| I think the very thing that we need to bear in mind is to preserve the environment in whatever human activities done. Chevron has been facing this controversy and the people from Ecuador are asking for justice for the affected people of the toxic materials caused by Chevron. The environmental contamination of toxic materials will really kill many people, so it is important that we learned how to manage the business well without giving harm to the ordinary people. |
| Hi there! Killing is a mortal sin. It is really fair for the people of Ecuador to gain what ever was done to them. Chevron should be punished for what ever they have done most especially to the ones who really died. Other people should be vigilant enough to notice how money changes everything. | I'm feeling sorry for all the innocent victims that suffered the effect of tons of carcinogen dumped in the river. It is right to give justice to these people. If proven guilty, Chevron has to face this problem and pays all the damages that they did. They should be aware of the consequences of their actions. They not only caused damaged to the people but also to the environment. I hope that these companies would realize the effect of their action to our mother nature. |
