| Moving To Ecuador Supposing I wanted to move to Ecuador, buy a small farm (20k max), and survive by fishing, and goat's milk for the rest of my life. Is this possible.I am confused about visas. I would like to go there , and just stay. I hate living in the U.S. like some people have nightmares. I am 48, born in NYC. I have hated every waking moment of living in this vile nation. First, I feel for your confusion about Visa's. Clarity seems elusive. That will be a big shift for you moving into Latin America. Things go their own way and end up at the finish line. But your path, obstacles and amount of time to finish something will vary greatly from another.Is your dream possible? The only way to know is go and start exploring. The challenges will be different from those you have in the USA. On that note, the USA, I hope this forum stays away from US Politics and focuses toward the good (and bad) things in Ecuador. Everyone has their own views, but just go explore and see what you find. A big help is to turn off the US TV News, and political commentary broadcasts/ websites... whether you have moved or are in the process. |
