| Retired on coastal southern Ecuador Hello everyone! If you're interested in communicating about what it's like to retire in Ecuador (as an expat) and live on the beach please reach out to me. I've got some experience here after a year now and would love to share. I am the cofounder of a real estate/construction mgmt business near Salinas and have over 36 listings available for sale ALL with ocean views or are beach front. I've even got properties starting at $15K - yes, really. I did my own remodel here in EC and can share with you my travels and travails. My family had a Sears appliance repair affiliate and I parlayed this into real estate flipping, development and now I'm in EC doing the same. After completing my own remodel in EC I now have two large remodel projects, and many new clients wanting to buy/remodel, build/develop property. Let me know if you'd like to learn more about it. |
| Hello there!I had been to Ecuador last February.I can tell that the place is the best especially if you want to relax or spend time with your family. Baņos de Ambato is one of the spots that I like most because it has a very pleasant climate and they have so many great animals in there zoo. Hi Christina, We are Jack and Tracy. I am involved in gold mining in southern Ecuador. We have lived in both Bahia and Salinas. We love the coast. We are interested in properties from San Lorenzo to Machala. We would love to build, but we will consider a good deal on an existing house. We want seclusion, or plenty of space between us and the neighbors. We want a quiet stretch of beach, not a place that gets packed on the weekends or holidays. We have been looking since we arrived almost two years ago. Please do not bother us with places priced for the gringo market. I have been offered beach front land for as little as $5.00 a square meter, and have looked at houses in Salinas for $26000.
