I sell my house on the beach, it is located has Mompiche province esmeraldas, the ground is of 2500 m2 under the coconuts. The house is nearly 1, 400 square feet of construction with two bedrooms and one bath and an extra shower outside The living room is over 450 square feet with plenty of room for friends and family.. It also has a 350 square foot deck for watching the waves as they approach the beach. There is 110 and 220 service to the house with a bodega for storage and pump house.

Ecuador is a tremendous place! It is a democracy with a thriving economy. Moderate crime rate, pretty good security. Nice, hospitable, people ready to serve and be useful. I would recommend warmly. ¡Saludos!

Valerie, I find your post really up to par. Crime is a global phenomenon nowadays and it takes the effort of those in authority to try and curb this. It does easily come out as genuine when a person claims that a country of residence is not at all insecure. If you are looking for information on Ecuador real estate, try looking for that information in online classifieds.

I hope someone has a look at the website given by Patricia. Issues to do with real estate are best handled on the ground rather than use the net that normally has their value overpriced. If you pay close attention to the dubious dealers/brokers/ or real estate agents out there, then you are good to.Did you ever find what you were looking for Tricia? I would be glad to hear something to the affirmative.

Well i think Valerie might have experienced and had been in Ecuador that is why she had concluded that. Well i haven't been in Ecuador but i had read lots of stuffs regarding this beautiful country in South America. I think i have to agree with what Valerie have said, based on my readings i think Ecuador is a nice non criminal place to stay.
But still you have the right to disapprove.

I think there are no place on earth that is zero crime.. so when i read about your post claiming that Ecuador is a non criminal place to stay, it got my attention. If it is true then it would be the nicest place to take a vacation. Not just because it is safe from criminals but look at its natural wonders, and i would like to know how this place inspired Charles Darwin..

Ecuador! What a lovely country. If I were only wealthy, it would be on my list of places to live, for at least a year, no doubt.

All of Central and South America, are to be explored by myself. I have already started over in the Southern continent, but I think that I would head on over to central America, next, as I have not yet graced that area of the globe.

I am also thinking of going in Ecuador. Just by reading several article regarding this place makes want to know more about Ecuador. I would want to see more out of this country than what can be seen in the television and on some books.
Comment #18 adam (63.176.159.39) - 01/05/10 17:14
central america is the place to be, without a doubt. South is good too, but central.

Good Real estate isn't that hard to come by in Ecuador. There are a few good options once you have the money available to you. The harder part is the locations but Ecuador is beautiful you should have a beautiful home environment to start your family.
