Head down to the section of town called Mariscal Sucre. The term for the area is gringo-land. If you ask a taxi to take you to the Hotel Chalet Suisse, this will be right in this district. There are lots of clubs, good restaurants, and travel agencies. This are is really hopping.
No doubt, you will find many American and European travelers.
