Is a non resident of Ecuador able to acquire health insurance if it is that they intend to visit for the country for an extended period of time?

There are individual travel insurance plans or health insurance plans available that would cover you while you are in Ecuador. If you are looking for coverage for an extended coverage, you may want an international plan that will cover you worldwide including in your home country. Is health insurance offered for people retiring in Ecuador who are over the age of 60? Like the kind we can pay a certain amount each month? Or what does Ecuador offer in the way of medical insurance to people retiring there over the age of 60? Or is there not age limit?
