IS THERE ANYONE IN THE BREMERTON OR SEATTTLE WA AREA PLANNING TO MOVE TO ECUADOR(OR KNOWS ECUADOR WELL)? I WILL BE MOVING THERE IN THE NEXT 6-7 MONTHS. I'M GOING THERE IN THE NEXT 3-4 MONTHS FOR SCOUTING AROUND. I WOULD WELCOME CONTACT(E-MAIL OR OTHERWISE) WITH SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ECUADOR OR IS IN A SIMILAR SITUATION. I'VE READ CONSIDERABLY ON MOVING THERE BUT ANY INSIGHT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. NELSON

I am not from US but I have live in Seattle for 11 months and I believe moving to Ecuador is a nice move.
Its economy and culture is very stable and ll amenities are complete, not to mention its great, unspoiled nature.

My wife and I moved to Ecuador a year ago. We live in the Cotacachi area north of Quito. For nearly 10 years, we traveled the world, then decided to settle here.
