Article: Atop the Basilica del Voto Nacional

Thank author of this post/commentQuito is a city of fine architecture and great history. Many of the structures that you will see in the city center today have their roots hundreds of years ago and serve as an artistic reminder of Ecuador's colonial past. There are a few structures that stand out, however, and that includes the Basilica del Voto Nacional.

I am the type of adventurer and traveler who would want to see historical places and landmarks. And I have heard about the Basilica del Voto Nacional from a friend of mine and it was great, really. I wonder what could be the best destinations there for me if I want to experience and explore more of Ecuador's historical past.

I am looking forward for a great trip there. Hoping for all of your responses.

There are a lot of things to see in Ecuador. In fact, it is considered as one of the best tourist destinations in the world. The last time I went to the Basilica del Voto Nacional, I really had the time of my life. It was really fascinating to see colonial structures that have been valued for a long time. It is the chance for you to see the old and new things in Ecuador.

I like seeing colonial structures as well, mainly because the buildings carry so much history just on their walls. It sort of makes one feel as if he is transported back in time, yet without the negative parts of that time, as we all know the colonial times were only romantic for the upper class and the conquerors and pretty much the worst time for the locals and indians.
