'Move to Ecuador' Expat

I am an U.S. Army veteran and receive $700 per month disability. I am interested in moving and living in Ecuador. Can you tell me if I can live there comfortable on this. What areas are more American-friendly for residents (not tourist)?

You can live with that. It all depends where do you want to live. There are more expensive areas than others. But you can rent a nice house by around 250-300 dolars.

It generally depends not only on where it is that one would be interested in living when in the magnificent Ecuador, but also on the fact of what it is that one enjoys doing and if it is that seven hundred dollars per month would be considered as enough to make that happen. That! is the real question at hand at this moment in time.
