'Things to do in Ecuador' Entertainment

What kind of things do people do for fun in Ecuador? Is it the same as in the U.S or is it totally different? Are there cinemas? Are there shopping malls? Are there nightclubs? I'm going there for a 6 month work placement and I want to know what to expect!

Ecuador is a nice place to live. There are everything cinemas, malls, buildings, highways, computers, tecnology, etc.

I know live at the States, Ecuador is different, ecuadorians give a lot of importance to a family and relatives.

They love to eat home made food, ecuadorians are outgoing and hospitality people.

You can make rafting, fishing, hiking, trekking, etc.

You could visit:

so in that way you could see some of the touristic places, you should visit.

I really would love it if it were that I had been able to find out what it is that people would consider as the best form of entertainment in Ecuador for one to consider.
