EDISON GAVILANES (190.131.34.125) - 10/07/08 18:48
I'm an English teacher. I have an excellent English level. I have worked before in the same activity.I can speak both English and Spanish very well. Besides, I am a certificated tourist guide. I'd like to work as soon as possible.

Mr. Edison Gavilanes, have you tried online job applications? What is your location? Maybe I can help with your "job hunting" by providing links to useful websites

It seems you are quite capable of performing either job with ease. I know learning a second language is hard, at least it was for me.

John, you should have posted the links anyway. Personally, I find the 'job hunt' to be a tricky affair especially when it is not clear about which specific place you are sourcing at.Online searches would be the best. In my own country, there is a website where you specify the particular field you want a job in. You will keep receiving alerts as they come. All the best guru!

Well searching jobs is quite harder nowadays. Not to mention getting hired. However with perseverance and hard work, just like the old saying goes, there is nothing impossible. With God's grace you can conquer all. But first things first, market your self, i mean come up with a good resume, pas it on companies, there are lots online, and with God;s grace and voila... you can hope for a response call.. and hopefully wait another couple of days for positive results..haha

I think i have to agree with Kira, the competition in employment and getting employed is getting harder and harder. With some surveys and data shows us, there are huge number of unemployed, that are well experienced and are graduated from great schools, how can you ever compete with them, not to mention those fresh grads with fresh ideas..So i think it is much better that you start your own business instead of getting employed..

a good idea is to give tours to tourists who speak English as you speak both languages very well. You can offer your tours, a website for expatriates, for example, good luck
